Meet Your Host
Dr. Janie Lacy, LMHC, NCC, CSAT-S, is a licensed Relationship Trauma Psychotherapist with two decades of experience in helping individuals break free from destructive relationship patterns. Her unique approach addresses the root cause of their struggles, facilitating transformative experiences that enable her clients to attain the inner peace they've longed for.
Recognized nationally as an expert in relationship trauma, Dr. Lacy has appeared on prominent media platforms such as Good Morning America, CNN|HLN, ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC.

In addition to her therapeutic practice, she serves as a faculty member at the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals. As a successful entrepreneur, she has grown her counseling business from a solo practice to a specialized group practice.
Dr. Lacy's contributions have earned her multiple accolades, including the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professional Leadership Award 2023, Orlando Business Journal's 2021 "Women Who Mean Business," Onyx Magazine’s 2020 “Woman on the Move,” Orlando Magazine's 2019 “Women of the Year,” and African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida's 2018 “Enterprise Business of the Year.”

Dr. Lacy is the creator of Woman Redeemed, an intensive group experience that uses proven therapy strategies to help women start their healing journey. Her passion for assisting others to break free from toxic relationships was fueled by a personal tragedy—losing her eldest sister to domestic violence. Harnessing her expertise and personal experience, Dr. Lacy is dedicated to helping others escape the toxic love cycle.
